By profession, I am a qualified South African pensions and investment actuary who is passionate about thought leadership and is committed to using those skills to contribute to financial services and to society at large.

 Qualified as one of the first 20+ South African (fellow) black actuaries in 2016, gained a total of 6 qualifications to date, and gained 12 years experience in SA financial services thus far.

I am the founder & managing director of MDM Actuaries, the former chairman of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) Alternative Investments Forum, as well as a lecturer in Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Selected as one of the Mail & Guardian's Top 200 South Africans, I remain committed to positively impacting financial services & society as a whole.
